Nogomet

Nogomet, commonly known as soccer or football in many countries, refers to a team sport played between two teams of eleven players each. The objective of the game is to score goals by getting a ball into the opposing team’s net. The sport is governed by a set of rules known as the Laws of the Game, established by the International Football Association Board (IFAB). Players primarily use their feet to control and advance the ball, although other parts of the body, excluding the arms and hands (except for goalkeepers), may also be used. Funneled into an organizational context, nogomet can also refer to various aspects associated with the management of football teams and leagues, including player recruitment, training, development, and overall team performance. In a human resources context, nogomet may involve managing athlete contracts, ensuring compliance with league regulations, organizing team dynamics, and fostering a positive team culture. The sport has a rich tradition globally and is the most popular sport in terms of viewership and participation. It plays a significant role in fostering teamwork, discipline, and physical fitness.
